Shrek's Swamp

You are mingling outside. You hear a loud roar, coming from the neighboring woods. What could it be? [[Go Check]] [[Stay in your yard]]

You peek your head into the bushes, wondering who or what is deep in there. Do you even want to know? [[Head back to the yard]] [[Delve Deeper]]

You feel satisfied, yet not completely. [[Go play ball with your sister]] [[Go hide in a corner]]

You win. [[Win (really)]]

Shrek jumps on top of you! Ah! He crushed you with his weight. How did he get here so fast? [[RIP]]

You wish you had known what was in there, but you feel like you made the right choice. [[Go play ball with your sister]] [[Go hide in a corner]]

You are walking...walking...walking...AHH! You feel a tingle on your shoulder! It's only a mosquito. [[Kill it!]] [[Shake it from your shoulder]]

You wipe the blood from your hand. You feel powerful, yet ashamed. [[Go deeper]]

You begin to itch, yet you feel satisfied that you spared a life. [[Go deeper]] [[Head back to the yard]]

You hear the roar again, yet louder. It sounds...like an ogre. [[Make awkward reference]] [[Continue on your path]] [[Follow the footsteps]]

All is silent. Did that bird hear you? [[Continue on your path]]

What was that? A swarm of mosquitos comes, and they seem aggresive, though not entirely. [[Pull out an AK-47]] [[Duck and sprint]]

As you trace the footsteps, they start to get deeper and deeper, and your boots get heavier and heavier. The mud is starting to appear. You are reaching the heart of the woods. [[Scrape your boots on a tree]] [[Proceed]]

You begin spraying, but you hear squishing. Louder. Louder. Louder! It's behind you! You don't have a chance to react, and large hands grab you. They're green, and that's all you see. In the distance, you hear your sister's yelps. Then, you slowly sink into the shimmering mud. [[RIP]]

You are running, dodging insects, but suddenly, the mud sticks to your feet! You fall, regretting your decision to run. You get back to your feet. [[Proceed]]

The tree leans, but doesn't fall. It almost seems perturbed. [[Proceed]]

You keep trekking, your feet becoming tired, your arms getting exhausted, but what do you see? [[Squint]] [[Cover your eyes to look]] [[Disregard it]]

AH! You realize that you decreased your vision, and Shrek appears above you. He grabs you with unhuman force, and pulls you onto his back. You faint. [[Wake up!]]

You keep walking, occasionally checking behind you, worrying that something is following you. But alas, you see the Sheperdson's home! You are safe! [[Win (not really)]]

You awaken, and appear to be underwater. This water is very murky, and your phone has no signal. You are strapped to a log with vines, and Shrek stands behind you, inspecting what looks to be your watch on a tray. [[Throw your phone at Shrek]] [[Open your pocket knife]] [[Stay still]]

You pull back the vine restraining your arm, about to throw the phone, and then you hurl it. It hits Shrek straight in the head, yet has no effect on him. He comes over, and strips you of everything. [[Yell at Shrek]] [[Pull at the vines]]

Shrek sees your open knife, and while he tries to grab it, you decapitate Shrek. Suddenly, all of his children come for you. [[RIP]]

Shrek grabs your phone straight out of your jeans pocket, and you think of a certain person with "Maximum Stealth." [[Pull at the vines]] [[Open your pocket knife]] [[Yell at Shrek]]

You go inside the Sheperdson's home, but you see that it is no longer the Sheperdsons. You immidiately regret going into the woods, as there are many children of Shrek in this house. You thought it had an odd green tint. [[RIP]]

Shrek realizes your intentions, and beats you. You pass out again. [[Get up!]]

Shrek seemingly ignores you, but soon comes over and throws you into the water. You realize that there is no hope for you. In your head, you wished you had stayed in the yard. [[RIP]]

You wake in a hollowed out log, and everything is hazy. Somehow, you can't believe that you've made it this far. You look around, and see that you are in a giant bubble, made of what you think is glass. It has a sign on it reading- "Don't tap on the glass!" [[Tap on the glass]] [[Remain in your log]]

Congratulations! You won. Wanna play again? -->[[A normal day]]<--

You tap once, and nothing happens. [[Tap a second time]] [[Return to the log]]

You feel very, very sleepy, even though you'veonly been awake for a few moments. [[Close your eyes]]

You tap again, and still nothing happens. [[Tap a third time]] [[Return to the log]]

You feel sleepy again, even though you just woke up. [[Take a deep breath]] [[Close your eyes]]

You tap a third time, the hardest of all the times, and you feel a trembling. You see a few fish swim by, and although they don't look panicked, you think they seem panicked. [[Put your ear to the glass]]

You hear gurgling noises, becoming increasingly louder. You turn to look, and a giant, swimming abomination is in the water! He (or, more accurately, it) turns and consumes what you think is around fifty fish. [[Jump Back]]

A mysterious force comes over you and you feel compelled to [[Close your eyes]]

You are walking in your house. Your mom tells you that the cookies are ready. You fall down all thirteen stairs. You stand up, unflinchingly. You persist toward the kitchen. You feel that you are being followed. You never look away from your mom. Your mom turns from the oven. Your mom is Shrek. The person behind you is Shrek. You are Shrek. All is Shrek. Shrek is all. You tumble away into another dimension. You only think of Shrek. You only Shrek of Shrek. Shrek only Shreks of Shrek. Shrek Shrek Shreks Shrek Shrek. [[?]]

You jump back into something hard as a rock! It's Shrek! He pulls you toward him, and you can only imagine what will happen next. [[Fast forward a few minutes]]

Shrek sees no need for you any more, and expells you from the bubble. You blow out your last few bubbles of air, wishing you had abided by the sign. [[RIP]]

You wake, sweating from head to toe. [[Check to make sure you aren't Shrek]] [[Scrounge the bubble]]

You look at your reflection in the water and glass completely surrounding you, and you look normal. You think you see a tint of green in your skin, but then again, the water is green. [[Scrounge the bubble]]

You find your cell phone! How convenient. [[Look all over the floor]] [[Look at the glass walls]]

All you find are scattered onions. [[Look under the log]] [[Look at the glass walls]]

You find some scratch marks, and a metal sign engraved with "Do not tap the glass." Prudence advises you to not tap the glass. [[Look under the log]] [[Look all over the floor]] [[Investigate the scratches]]

There are many marks, and you debate whether they are human or not. Some, there are just fingerprints, and others, scratches so deep that you think the glass is impenetrable. [[Check your phone]]

Your phone reads May 22, 2016. How long have you been down here? [[Check messages]]

Apparently, you got service sometime in the last few months. You have a text from Mom reading: "Come back in in a few minutes! I made cookies!" Why didn't you stay in the yard? None of this would be happening. [[Smash your phone]] [[Go to bed once again]]

You smash your phone on the ground, and a certain string of characters appears in the dust. They look like Russian, but you aren't Russian, so you aren't sure. Out of your phone fall a few components. [[Pick up the components]] [[Inspect the runes more closely]]

You go to bed, and never wake up. [[RIP]]

They are surrounded by dust, that somehow you think isn't from Earth. You rearrange them mentally, and see that they almost create a kind of figure. A mysterious wind soon blows it away. [[Walk toward the sign reading Do Not Tap the Glass]] (print: $siliconfiber)

You feel a rush of power flow through your veins. Thump. [[End of Episode One]]
